When Nico and Christian of Kollektiv Turmstrasse start working the crowd, it is like somebody dumped a bucket of energy on the dance floor. For more then ten years these two guys have spread their good vibes all over the world with no plans of slowing down, an example of that is the long awaited debut(!) album coming out in November 2010.
Kollektiv Turmstrasse has resided in Hamburg for the past years, and drawing a lot of influence from the people around them, living in Hamburg has greatly influenced their music. You can’t classify their sound that easy, though: KTS makes music for the moment and for eternity, for indoors and for open air, for the soul and for the dancefloor, for you and for me, combining techno and soul-filled bouncy house music.
Along with releases on Dynamic, Ostwind and Connaisseur, Kollektiv Turmstrasse has also been working on their very own label Musik Gewinnt Freunde, which they started in 2006, and one of their biggest hits to this date is actually a remix of another German act – Federleicht –
which Florian Schirmacher is part of. This year at Trailerpark both Kollektiv Turmstrasse and Florian Schirmacher will enrich us with their presence, and if we are lucky, they might even join forces on stage…
Before mentioned hit is of course Kollektiv Turmstrasse’s Let Freedom Ring remix of the Federleicht track On The Streets, a track that you have undoubtedly been dancing to more than once already.
